Our team is raising money in honor of my father, Garry. Our team name comes from the fact that among other causes, he is passionate about the critical state of rhinocerous endangerment around the world.
Garry was diagnosed with Parkinson's about fifteen years ago. He was introduced to his first grandchild just a few months ago. The advancements in treatment of Parkinson's over recent decades has made a big difference in our lives. The money we raise here will contribute to research just like that which has helped my dad. Please help us! Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated.
We invite you to join us in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. On May 4, we will join the More Talk! More Walk! – a beautiful two-mile walk in Baylands Park, to raise funds for patients care, research and awareness of Parkinson’s disease
Close to 1.5 million people have Parkinson’s disease in the United States alone. Every nine minutes another person is newly diagnosed. It will take less time than that to support the More Talk! More Walk! as we work together towards finding a cure.
There are several ways to support our fundraising efforts:
Please make a donation.
It’s easy to give online here on our team fundraising page. You’ll receive an electronic receipt and be able to see how your donation is contributing to our fundraising goal.
If you prefer, you can mail your donation using the enclosed donation form. Checks should be made payable to the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center and are tax deductible.
Register for the More Talk! More Walk! and join our team.
Help spread the word. Once you register, you can become a fundraiser by reaching out to your family and friends to support this important cause.
There is strength in numbers so please, join me, and take action.
