Welcome to My More Talk! More Walk! Personal Fundraising Page
In June of 2015, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but I have probably had it for ten years or longer than that. I am not going to let this disease stop me from having the life I want to live and you can help me with that. "I may have Parkinson's, but Parkinson's doesn't have me"
I invite you to join me in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. In May, I will join the More Talk! More Walk! – a beautiful two-mile walk in Baylands Park, to raise funds for patients care, research and awareness of Parkinson’s disease.
Close to 1.5 million people have Parkinson’s disease in the United States alone. Every nine minutes another person is newly diagnosed. It will take less time than that to support the More Talk! More Walk! as we work together towards finding a cure.
There are several ways to support my fundraising efforts:
Please make a donation. Whatever you can give is appreciated.
It’s easy to give online here on my personal donation page. You’ll receive an electronic receipt and be able to see how your donation is contributing to my fundraising goal.
If you prefer, you can mail your donation using the enclosed donation form. Checks should be made payable to the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center and are tax deductible.
Register to join me at the More Talk! More Walk! Visit moretalkmorewalk.org.
Help spread the word. Once you register, you can become a fundraiser by reaching out to your family and friends to support this important cause.
There is strength in numbers so please, join me, and take action.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
